I
revised my draft for Project 2 several times. After I outlined the draft and
rewriting the draft, I had my peers review my draft in class. My peers provided
many suggestions that were very helpful.
After taking a break, I reviewed the suggestions again and implemented
many of the suggestions. I did not review my draft paragraph by paragraph
during the writing process because I wanted the ideas to flow freely without
obsessing over technical corrections. To that extent, I began my review after
the whole draft was completed. After the draft was completed, I began editing
the draft. During the editing process, I focused on the clear presentation of
the draft language as well correcting the technical and grammatical elements of
the draft. My overall editing focus is to reorganize and delete extra
information. Finally, I reread the project instructions to ensure that my
project meets the assignment’s specifications and is targeted to the intended
audience.
